Privacy Policy – SnabbLearn

This privacy policy explains how the SnabbLearn mobile application (“App”) processes information. “We”, “us”, or “our” refers to the developer of SnabbLearn (the “Developer”).

This policy applies to the Android version of the App available via Google Play (including internal/testing tracks) and to any distribution provided directly by the Developer.

4.1. Information you create

• Flashcards, schedules, review statistics, and preferences you set in the App. Stored locally on your device.

4.2. Advertising & device information (via AdMob)

When ads are shown, Google AdMob (as an independent controller) may collect and process:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP address, user agent, app bundle ID, and general device information (model, OS version).
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks), approximate location where required for advertising.
• Consent choices (EEA/UK/CH) via UMP.

4.3. Permissions

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to display study reminders and alerts.
• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – required to request and display ads.
• Legacy versions may have requested SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM or REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS for scheduling; current public versions avoid sensitive permissions and rely on standard scheduling.

5. How we use information

• Provide core features: save flashcards and preferences on your device and schedule reminders.
• Show advertising via AdMob to support the App.
• Comply with legal obligations (e.g., managing consent under GDPR/EEA rules).

• Consent – for personalized/non‑personalized advertising and storing/reading identifiers via AdMob where required.
• Legitimate interests – to operate the App (local storage and notifications).
• Legal obligation – to keep consent records where applicable.

7. Sharing & transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the App, primarily Google AdMob and its certified ad technology partners when ads are requested. 8. Data retention

• On‑device study data persists until you delete the App data or uninstall the App.
• Ad data is retained by Google/partners according to their policies.

9. Your choices

• Consent controls (EEA/UK/CH): You’ll see a consent message managed by Google UMP. To change your choice later, clear the App’s data or use the platform’s ad settings (e.g., Android’s “Ads” settings).
• Notifications: You can disable notifications from the Android system settings.
• Reset Advertising ID: You can reset/limit ad personalization in Android settings.

10. Children

The App is intended for general audiences and not directed to children under the age that requires parental consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. Local data resides on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the most recent changes.
